Halloween Pirate

Ok ya'll, don't laugh too hard, but here I am in something my humans call a costume. Can you believe they thought I'd look cut as a pirate??? Sheesh! All I could do for the first five minutes was just stand there frozen in time hoping with all my hopes that they'd come take this silly thing off of me, but NOOOOOooooo, they had to find batteries for the camera, then when there weren't any charged up they had to get the video camera out, then that battery went dead too. Humom said to tell you she'd get some video uploaded tomorrow that shows Katie and Charlie too. Katie was an angel (YEAH RIGHT!!!) I have to admit though, she did look kinda sweet with those wings and halo, but she thought the halo was bling and kept turning it around so it was under her neck. Funny girl! Oh yeah, we had two whole trick or treaters and Hudaddy took me outside to show the kids my costume... how embarrassing, especially when he told them about my cancer. Humom said he doesn't need to tell everyone about it, just tell them how handsome I am. I'd just like to hide in the corner and sleep! Well, I hope you all had a fun Halloween!

Yummy Birthday Mash (NOT!)

Here I am eating what they promised was yummy Birthday Mash, peanut butter, honey and banana with Tumor Time, but the banana didn't agree with my sensitive tummy. The REAL party will be on Wednesday when my niece and nephew, Daisy and Buddy get to come over for REAL treats!

Oh yeah, that big black nose you'll see is my little sis Katie who was eyeballing that Mash, but my humans didn't let her have it.

Happy Birthday to MEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

All together now, everyone sing:
Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday to MEEEEEE-eeeeeee,
Happy Birthday to me!

Since this might be my last BD I'm sure my humans will treat me royally tonight after work... or so I think I overheard them saying this morning. But then again it might have been my humom saying I was a royal paid in the patutty for making her get up in the middle of the night to let me out, then having to turn on all the outdoor lights so I could find my way back in the dark. Naw.... bet she was talking about a party for me! Don't ya think???

Say hi to my little sis Katie

When ya have a chance how about hopping over to my little sis Katie's blog . She's really not my "little" sis because she's a lot bigger than me, but she's about half my age and a real smarty pants. If you give her some encouragement she might even tell you some of my secrets since I can't chase her down anymore...

They call THIS a Wire Fox Terrier?????

This'll make you laugh folks... he might be wirey, but sure doesn't look like any of us wires, does he?

Wire Fox Terrier Picture

Ain't he cute anyway? He's at our local shelter at http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=14659871

My hudad started talking about finding a replacement for me right after they found out about my cancer, but that makes me sad cuz I don't want him to be sad, but I don't want to go away and leave him, but I don't want to be replaced. Awww common, get real folks, NOBODY could replace me anyway, right?

Tucker tastes Tumor Time

My humans got me this stuff from a vet catalog that's supposed to help my tumor. They don't know what it'll do, but it's all herbs, so they figure it can't hurt. Here's a slide show of me eating it.

My feline sis "ignoring" the squirrels

In memory of my big sis Charmin, the original squirrel hunter (and the one who taught me how to bark), here's a slide show of my feline sis, Echo, pretending to ignore the squirrels. Enjoy!

Waiting for leaves to fall

This tree isn't far from my house. I'm waiting for the piles of leaves to fall in my back yard so I can jump in them! Oh by the way, this tree isn't IN my back yard, but the lake isn't far away and there are two other really big trees in my back yard that keep the squirrels happy.

Can't a guy get any sleep around here?

Just when I thought it was safe to take a nap...

along comes hooman momma and the flashes from the camera woke me up...

I think maybe tonight I'll start scratching in the middle of the night and wake her up too!!!

Oh, if you haven't see my niece and nephew's site, hop on over to Buddy and Daisy's and tell em I sent you over for a visit. My niece has a tiny little tumor on her face but, PHEW! it's NOT cancer like my big one! I was jumping for joy when her momma told me that yesterday!

Daily dose of entertainment

Now that I'm beginning to figure out how to type on this thing maybe I'll show you some stuff that keeps me laughing and entertained. The first picture below shows my little cat brother JC after he got a taste of some stuff called Catnip. I don't know what all the excitement was about because all it is is dried green stuff that looks like the leaves I roll in outside. Maybe since JC and Roger don't get to go outside they wanted to copy me, but they all sure looked silly rolling around on the floor!

You can see all three cats in this picture (l-r Echo, JC and Roger) taking a break from rolling around in the catnip. The box contains my momma's dried tea ingredients and she forgot it had catnip in there until the cats all showed up and started rubbing up against it.

Now I'll show you something that my momma got all excited about, running around to find the camera and so happy that she got actual pictures. Seems like the bird bath was empty, so our resident squirrel decided to use the dog bowl to get some water.

uh-oh... I think he spotted the camera...

Yup, it's off he goes...

Well that was fun while it lasted!

Hey can't a guy get any sleep around here???

So here I am sound asleep on my favorite pillow...

Then along comes Charlie and wakes me up...

Well there's just no rest for the weary when you've got such a caring little brother! Oh, see that sock on his back foot? He has lick granuloma... fancy way of saying he LOVES to lick his foot so much that it turns in to one big ouchy, so our parents figured out how to keep a sock on with double-sided velcro. The vet thought that was a pretty cool idea! Glad they didn't try that on my hurt paw. Oh speaking of my paw, the doc gave me prednisone and an antibiotic after saying she'd never see quite anything like it. Must have stubbed my toe really bad when I fell off the bed!
