Hey who turned out the lights???

Seems like someone forgot to turn on the lights around here lately. They tell me I'm blind, but I can still see a little, so I think they're really fooling with me and have turned out the lights. Here, I'll show you a little video of me trying to find my way over to my favorite watering hole. Then after that is a video of me on my favorite pillow eating one of humomma's cinnamon dog treats. She bribed me with it, then made me roll over so she could measure my tumor. Warning, if you're a girl just turn your head...

Watch me roll!

No more Kia

I'm kinda sad about there not being a dog smaller than me anymore in this house, but my momma got bit too many times and said it just wouldn't work out. Kia was VERY happy when her other momma came back to get her, but my humans were sad and felt bad about not being able to keep her. They sent all kinds of blankets and newspapers away with Kia, but she's way too small to need all those. I think maybe they are for the many other dogs being cared for by this nice lady. I'm trying to be extra nice to my humans, but have been a little sick lately. Daddy thinks maybe the cancer is upsetting my tummy and he's giving me extra food to eat with my Tumor Time. The tumor has grown a little and has red spots on it now, but it's not too bad. I'm happy to have a nice warm bed to sleep on, something I do most of the time. Hope everyone else is staying warm and enjoying any snow they have. I get lost in mine, especially when it was taller than me and all white. I couldn't find my way back from doing my daily duty outside and daddy had to come rescue me. Now it's melting enough I can see the ground, but I still bump in to things like the bird bath and the tree. Momma keeps trying to teach Katie how to guide me around, but she just wants to chase squirrels and fetch the tennis ball. Maybe Charlie could be my seeing eye dog? I'll have to work on that one...

Licks and wags...

My New Year's Visitor

Today a lady came over with a fluffy little dog who is actually smaller than me. Seems my humans are thinking about adopting her. She's cute and all, but I pretty much just ignored her. Katie, on the other hand, thought it was HER job to herd her all over the house. Charlie just stood back and watched. She's really a cutie, somewhere around 8 years old (Katie's age) and is a Papillon who's family didn't want her anymore after they had a grandchild. My humans are going to see how things go with her and the other animals in our house before making a decision, but I kinda like her cuz she's smaller than me! Here's a few pictures. Katie will put some on her blog too.
