Company is here and so is the snow!

While my "sis" and her husband are in Colorado they left their "kids" behind. They both leave me alone most of the time, but sure do like to run around and play a lot. Here's a picture of us all sleeping. Notice where Katie is hanging out...
Yeah, so Daddy likes to watch the shopping channels, but I think he sleeps most of the time just like me!

This morning while my niece and nephew's father was off skiing in Colorado look what Daddy found outside:
He had moved their SUV to a spot in front of our garage where he thought it would be out of the way of snow drifts, but this time the snow blew in a different direction than the last blizzard and well, you can see where it ended up! So funny!

Yesterday I got to see my favorite doctor and she said my tumor had not matastisized and wasn't wrapping around anything, so she can remove it. The cancer will still be in my body, but at least for a short time I won't have this huge mass hanging off my belly.
She said it might grow right back within a matter of weeks or it could take as long as 6 to 8 months and, in her words, "something else might happen". I think she means the cancer will make me so sick that I'll die before the tumor grows back. Oh, did I tell you that I peed on the floor in her office? Hah! Guess I showed her who's boss, didn't I? He he he!

Licks and wags to you all!
Tucker

  1. Tucker! Good luck with the tumor removal. You will be more comfortable without it I think.

  2. Tucker, we think that is good news...and hope the operation goes well. And don't worry about peeing on the floor at the vets office. No matter how sweet they are, they deserve it.

  7. Hi Tucker - we are happy to hear that your tumor is not spreading and that you will get some relief from the removal of the big lump hanging from you. We have our paws crossed that your surgery will go very well for you and that you can be more comfortable.

Yes, you were right, we did get snow too. And Mom said it all blew on our side of the street. Our driveway was piled high and across the street they only had about an inch on their driveways. We all had lots of fun out romping and doing zoomies. Ciara loves the snow just like TD. Phantom likes it for a while but then prefers to go back inside.

Hope you have a good week.

  8. So. Tucker. You know how to make a statement. Good job. You keep it up. You make this statement, okay? "Get that tumor off of me and I'll show you just how long I can be rid of it! For a very long time. Maybe even. Hopefully. FUREVER!" It sounds like you know how to get your point across. You go in there and TELL them. And you can tell them we told you to tell them so.

We plan on sending our snows to you for a long long time. (Get ready. Another one's coming!)

    Love

  9. Hey Tucker,
Well ya gotta know that you need to maintain a pawsitive outlook on this tumor thing. We lost Chance (http://bumpasshounds.blogspot.com/2008_03_16_archive.html) and Gordon to mass cell tumors but we've also had them removed from Homer J. and from Jubal. You simply do the best you can do. And you also make the most of every day you have. We don't know whether or not you know max Dog in South Africa (http://theadventuresofmaxdog.blogspot.com/), but he's going through the same situation as you without the blindness, which, as we said, is a trivial thing. You need to enjoy every minute with those that love you. have a GReat time and enjoy life to the maximum. Don't fret about things that you can not control. Make your mark now.
